A custody transfer metering system for oil (oil products) consists of a process complex and an information gathering and processing system.
The process complex includes a set of functionally connected instrument converters, instruments, process equipment and piping, namely:
- Filters unit;
- Meter run assemblies;
- Oil quality measuring unit;
- Verification unit;
- Master verification unit;
- Flow rate and pressure control unit;
- Spare metering circuit.
The information processing system is used to receive signals from instruments, carry out metering operations in an automated way, archive and display data, implement metrological performances control and verification, prepare and print reports and protocols.
