Description
APCS FOR OIL REFINERIES AND PETROCHEMICAL PLANTS ARE USED TO:
- Stabilize the predetermined process conditions by monitoring of process parameters, visual representation and output of control actions to actuating mechanisms both in an automatic mode and as a result of operator’s actions;
- Prevent emergencies at process units by automatic scanning of sensors connected to the system, analysis of measured values and switching of process units to a safe state by outputting control actions to actuating mechanisms in an automatic mode or by an initiative of operating personnel.
APCS FOR OIL REFINERIES AND PETROCHEMICAL PLANTS PERFORM THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS:
- Operational monitoring of units within oil refineries and petrochemical plants;
- Automatic control of equipment operating modes;
- Accounting of equipment operation time and consumption of raw materials and utilities (water, steam, gas, electric power, etc.);
- Long-term storage of operational information;
- Preparation of reporting documentation;
- Diagnostics of APCS equipment.
